“Colors of Helium” — An Anthem by Peter Weber
Peter Weber has written a wonderful anthem for Helium entitled “Colors of Helium” which I’m very happy to share with everyone here. Thank you, Peter.
Peter has provided us with an MP3 from his notation program, which means you can hear it rendered nicely but it’s not a full arrangement. Maybe another fan can get in solved and create a fully arranged version? Meanwhile, a very big “thank you” to Peter Weber.

The Colors of Helium
(Lyrics and music by Peter Weber)
1. Blue, the color of flooding waves
Shimmering low on our ancestors’ graves
Grounds may dry, but our hearts stay true
The color of Helium is ocean blue
We hail the view as our banners fly
Twin towers watching the crimson sky
2. Canals span wide on the planet sphere
Bringing the gift of water so dear
Faith and science for men so fair
Helium’s color’s as blue as the air
We salute our Princess, our banners fly
Twin towers watching the crimson sky
3. See mighty warships in battle line
Pennants flicker and metals shine
The air is thin, but we won’t recede
Blue rise the colors of Helium’s fleet
We salute our Jeddak, our banners fly
Twin towers watching the crimson sky

That’s great! 🙂
Can it just be choral voices kind of thing — not words? They could be singing in barsoomian, huh? Just a thought.
Hey Peter, if you give me access to your midi file, I can make it sound awesome real quick like!!! Vocals??? hhmmmm, maybe 🙂
