Nice Article on Legend of Tarzan in Total Film
Here’s a much appreciated piece in Total Film on Legend of Tarzan and Alexander Skarsgard. The article contains a couple of interesting quotes from Christoph Waltz and Skarsgard. Says Waltz, commenting on the sets which were “two hundred yards long, with real trees, running water, and vegetation” — “I’ver never experienced anything like it. That was almost like old school film-making.” And Skarsgard, commenting on the work process of director David Yates: “I didn’t know what it would be like when you do a big movie like that. Are they going to micromanage you? Are they going to be nervous if you wanted to change one word? But if something wasn’t working we would play around with it. It was all so alive and so organic.”
