New John Carter Trailer to be released today on the head of Act of Valor
There have been rumors and more than rumors, that there would be a new John Carter trailer — a third one. Andrew Stanton tweeted that this was the case, and more recently there were reports that a new trailer, 1:33 in duration, had been approved by Canadian censors (or whatever they are called).
Now comes what seems to be a definitive statement in a Hollywood Reporter Article, saying that the new trailer arrives today, February 24, on the head of Act of Valor.
Additionally, the marketing team is pushing out a new TV campaign loaded with storyline-heavy spots. The ads will strive to better explain how Carter makes his way to Mars and discovers superhuman powers when he joins the fight to save a Martian princess. At the same time, the studio has seen an uptick in the film’s attractiveness to men in the most recent tracking data. An action-heavy trailer will go out in front of Act of Valor on Feb. 24.
If it’s out in theaters it will probably be released online today as well. Be vigilant!

Why are they releasing an action-heavy trailer 3? They should be releasing a Story heavy trailer 3…
The trailer that was approved in Canada is 1:33 and this is over 4 minutes. I think this is something else.
