Day 1 of the Edgar Rice Burroughs Centennial Celebration
It’s 12:30AM and I don’t’ have a lot of gas left in the tank, but I want to post some photos from day 1 of the Centennial celebration and tomorrow I will post more and also do some interviews and post them. Check out the “Back to Barsoom” Corner — it was great and Khanada has made some amazing things that I took pictures of. Also that’s Bruce Boxleitner (Tron Legacy most recently) in the last pic — he’s a big ERB fan and was there speaking with Linda Burroughs and her Llana Jane Burroughs–all of visited the Barsoom Corner.

I recognize a number of the people in these pictures. I see Bill Hillman, “Jeddak of the North.”
Thank you so much for sharing. How I wish I could be there.
The table looks great! Wish I could be there to see it and the rest of the room in person!
When checking the links between Bruce Boxleitner and ERB, I found two interesting posts, one is his tweet following John Carter’s premiere, and that he tried in the 80ies to make a John Carter series with Danton Burroughs:

And that it was hardly his first ERB convention!

That’s amazing, thanks for sharing! I’m a big fan of Bruce Boxleitner ever since I discovered him in the Frank Buck tv series. He always epitomized to me since the perfect leading man (and he starred in my all-time favorite tv show: Babylon 5). Discovering that he is an ERB fan too is just breathtaking to me. He’s a man of great taste! The “John Carter” on the poster could have been young Bruce, by the way!
Great to see also the Back to Barsoom table. Keep on spreading the faith!
