Jim Morris Explains the Details of His Role in John Carter
Just found this and its only got six views so I don’t think it’s been too widely viewed. It’s a very good interview in which Morris really lays out his role as producer, which is interesting because being credited as a producer can mean a lot of different things. Well worth a few minutes to watch.

My guess is that Disney suits cut Jim Morris off at the knees when it came to marketing. Perhaps Morris and Stanton had to either cut the film’s budget or cut the marketing/merchandising. Maybe they gambled and lost?
Interesting indeed! I’ll have a few specific questions for him at dinner if I get the chance. Very curious about a few things. 🙂
